What is good way to induce self hypnosis for the goal of obtaining self confidence?

I try to remain still and calm and then I repeat affirmations until I just blank out. I keep saying "I am confident and that I can do anything". Is this good?

There is a book by Paul McKenna called "Instant Confidence" that is supposed to be very good, it’s £5.49 from Amazon and has good reviews. My friend used it and said it was good

there are a lot better affirmations than that. You need to be more self-directed and focused on a specific thing you wish to accomplish if you are going to use affirmations. Confidence comes from accomplishments. So if you keep telling yourself you can do something and then not even attempt anything, then what good is the affirmation??? It’s just like saying a prayer over and over again, does that make a person more holy just by words? of course not.

This usually happens when we just believe what we are but dont exactly know and become what we believe in. Try to analysis urself and get a good knowledge about urself first then u can easy determine what u are and what now u wish to be. I give u a link too to help u some more http://www.managementdynamics.info/
