Get certified and trained officially through one of the two organizations if you live in the U.S.

Also, market yourself. Place your card in supermarkets, tell your friends, tell others, it's all marketing.
References :
Seems like jobs would easily line up for you. Perhaps you need to slip something into the therapy that makes your resume appear when they need an employee. Or maybe you should do mass hypnosis on large groups at trade fairs, or job fairs. Come on now, put your training to work.
References :
Home Depot pays fairly well. Other than starting your own practice or hoping some counseling center will hire you there is not much work out there for a hypnotherapist. Advertise.
References :
Well, hypnosis is fake, and everyone knows it, so go to a very dumb area of the country and rip them off.
References :
Probably , at least temporarily, i happen to think that it would wear off eventually and our true feelings would come back around.......
I dont think one has to hypnotize them selves........just accept your feelings and choose to sudy and find something interesting in them......I use EFT for this.......you could try it for free below, if you want to
References :
www.emofree.com he retires in march

I have used hypnotherapy successfully to break the habit of smoking. The result has been improved health. If you are experiencing a fear of snakes then perhaps it is time that you learned more about these reptiles and handled a few. Hypnotizing cannot create change in you if it is not truly desired. It is only a step in the right direction. YOU have to make that step.
References :
If you're that skilled, you should be able to hypnotize somebody into giving you a job.
References :
Keep your eye on the prize. Maybe also finding new perspective on your course of study. I do not recommend hypnosis for anything. Hope all goes well:] It will be over before you know it.
References :
Hypnosis might. What they would probably do is try to create positive associations with snakes in your mind, over and over.

Self-hypnosis tapes might be of use, though I haven't benefitted from them for various other things.

Another thing that might help would be supervised and controlled exposure. What you do is gradually work yourself up to touching or holding a snake (non-venomous of course).

There are also some of the newer "thought field" therapies. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Retraining) is one that is used with PTSD sufferers, and I don't see why it would not help with phobias. In fact, I think I read somewhere that they have used it on phobias such as fear of aircraft.

Expanding on EMDR, there are also accupressure and touch therapies that claim to help with fears and phobias. There is even a CD series around that I think is called, Instant Emotional Healing. I think it is in book form as well. It works with affirmations, visualization, touching pressure points, reversing polarities, etc.
References :
http://www.emdr.com/
